sssr20det510
If I remember right that isnt a real efi head its a normal head thats been cut out for the efi, and the seller wasnt sure if the comp was good or not ??? Link to comment
freaky510
why would you use a l16 head?? Imo a L20 head would have been better but what do i know Link to comment
zerow
whats so special about the head? The head has notches in the upper portion of the intakes, for the alignment of the injectors. However, this can be circumvented: Find a JDM W53 head. Same notches, peanut chamber and bigger valves like the A87. Can't go wrong... Link to comment
Z-train
why would you use a l16 head?? Imo a L20 head would have been better but what do i know research Port velocity and compression. Link to comment
datsunaholic
Remember, late L16s used A87 and W53 heads anyway- any OEM EFI L16E would have come that way. Link to comment
dimedude
the head is a A87 and it is the original head Link to comment
bonvo
can we get a measurment on the ports? Link to comment
dimedude
price drop will let it go for 500 for everything or trade for a nice set of rims let me know what you got Link to comment
datzenmike
the head is a A87 and it is the original head Stock L16 open heads were 38.5cc To conserve compression flattops were used with any peanut head which were 41cc. This one is marked 38.8(cc?) so if an A-87 there must be three different chamber sizes??? Can't tell is this open or peanut? . Link to comment
dryheat
I have the A87 open chamber FI head. This one appears to be the peanut. The area where the 38.8 is written appears to be flat and on my head it is not. Link to comment
