Mexs Garage
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone is running hardbody drop spindels in there 620? Or are they are waste of cash. Cheers Quote Link to comment
playsnmud
I am running hardbody drop spindles, and I love them they save money in the long run compare to tires Quote Link to comment
johny5
Ok bringing this back up , this is what im looking for for drop spindles are these what I need and is there a cheaper source http://www.jegs.com/i/Bell-Tech/146/2005/10002/-1?parentProductId=1047987 I have 620 suspension on my 521  Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
We need to clarify if the HB drop spindles fit the later 620's with the ball joint front end & or the kingpin front end. If so yes those spindles are what you want. Im running Bell tech's on my 94 HB. Installed new tie rod ends at the same time, oh & plan on getting a front end allignment the same day. ]2eDeYe
Pretty sure they are the same tie-rod end size and taper. I can double check tonight. Quote Link to comment
johny5
just to confirm , can i use my new 620 brakes on the hard body spindles ? Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Nope the 620 and early 720 brakes won't work. They are also a pretty crappy design compared to the late 720/hardbody stuff. Quote Link to comment
Bleach
So along with the Hardbody spindles, you're set to upgrade and install Hardbody hubs and calipers. :) Quote Link to comment
matwood
OR late model 720 stuff, correct? I think I am going to use a set of these, machined to accept ~92-94 2wd toyota pickup hubs, calipers, and rotors. I've got a set of Beebani's UCA's on the way... As for the rear, I'm planning on a toyota 2wd rearend. 5 lug swap full discs and with 3.73 gears.. :) mmm can't wait to get all the parts together. 90's Toyotas are hard to come by around these parts. haha Quote Link to comment
matwood
cheaper source... probably cheaper product.... http://wheelsnparts....products_id/755 A little more, but Belltech spindles... http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=BTSPINDLES&c=SU&b=Belltech&year=1986&make=NISSAN&model=PICKUP $235 with free UPS Ground shipping.. Farmer
For mine, I just picked a year ('90) and got everything for it. Looks like I lost my pictures in my build link under in my signature. Larry Quote Link to comment
