datzenmike Posted November 22, 2009 Report Share Posted November 22, 2009 My neighbor had a grinder with a 9" buffing wheel on it. Used some paste wax and carefully buffed it on the outside. Go easy or it will heat up and soften the plastic. It was so scuffed it looked like a matte finished photograph. When done it was a deep ruby red. Link to comment

It's available through Micromark,a tool supply for modelers. This one was as bad as that. use a plastic polish (Novus) afterwards. Link to comment
