Well I managed to score a tokiko and a Nabco for less than the Beck/Arnley! But man it took me a while to find them on the bay.

But I need the slave still. Will this one fit? The seller claims it will fit a 1972 521, and I have a 1971 521. He also says it will fit all 620's and up to 86 720's, AND '96-98 Suzuki Sidekicks!

Also I am having trouble sourcing a rubber hose for the slave. No one lists it anyway. It is it a simple thing to get and it applies to 1,000,000 cars so they don't list it under Datsun?

I did find this. What's a banjo? would it work? The ad says:

"for banjo fitting conversion with all hardware needed, Banjo bolt and 2 seal washers,ALSO A SWIVEL FEMALE FITTING TO HARDLINE SO YOU CHOOSE THE END TO TURN -length is 12 1/2 " a little longer than stock also fits SR20 transmission ,10mm ,fit all 510s for more room , also 240Z ,a must on a 620 521 truck for torsion bar clearance ."

The Bango fitting is at the end of the hose and looks sorta like a bango...the Bango bolt is the on wit te holes in it the allow fluid to pass through it.

I have no idea if any of that stuff will work on your truck though. Maybe someone else will know.

yes that looks like the correct slave cylinder

What I do it break the hose loose using a brake wrench(crows foot )

then loosen it from the trans.

Then install the new clinder to the hose as much as you can then put it on the trans so when you tighen it it doesnt twist the hose to much

Fuck the new hose for now.

Jeff Hino has salvaged many Datsun and never replaced the hose.

I would drive carefully and ck for leaks of coarse.

Not saying that replacing hoses is bad But I seen good stuff get replaced then it leaks more with new stuff cause guys dont cruch the washer correctly then its fucked. Plus if you repalce every hose then you could have got another datsun thats running instead!!!!!!!!!!!!

try Rockauto.com

Mr -auto-parts.com
