Sorry i meant 215 on the front will stick out (not totally inside the fender). Yes, small diameter means it won't rub much. I've been in one with 9" wheels and it didn't rub unless going over speed bumps. If you roll the fenders and pull them a bit yes 215s can fit inside, so I should have said "won't fit inside the fender with stock bodywork".

Who owns a Datsun without rolled fenders? I do. And one with flared fenders. One for each mood.

Here's another 1200 tire view, this one with 15x8 wheels (offset unknown).

They stick out past the fenders, but he used narrow tires so they wound't rub.

This is the same car having left the runway this weekend at the Astoria and Warrenton Airport Auto-X, it was a little slick! After pulling the car loose from the blackberries a bent valance and debris in the fan.So much fun to be had this summer in the Oregon SUN!?? The car returned to auto-x the rest of the day.

The current owner showed up today to buy some parts, I found out he lives south of Oregon city and used to race 1200's at PIR!

I like the Lancer seats, almost a straight bolt in. It's cool the way these 1200's show up!
