Cannon sidedraft with 40 Weber

GERMS

Recommended Posts

Hey guys it's been a while, and close to starting the engine up...

For those familiar with this setup...the cannon has two vacuum ports on each side...one smaller than the other...where do I connect those to exactly?

The distributor's vacuum advance...where to do I connect that? Don't see any entry for it on the weber....

And this I can find a guide Im sure but if its simple enough...how do I tune if need to, the weber...thanks! Can't wait to hear er run

i would hook your dist up to one of those vacuum ports on the intake, then the brake booster to the other side. if you have a brake booster anyways.

If you notice it idling funny then take one off at a time and cap it. see if it clears up. but it should be fine like that. double check that weber carb good to make sure there isnt a spot for the dizzy. if there is and you dont plug it that will give you a vacuum leak also
