VoidDragon
Been diggin around the junk pile at my Dad's bodyshop, looking stuff I could Macguyver onto my 620. I'd like to soonish change over to a new rad and an electric fan, so I've been trying out every rad I can get my hands on. I found one out of a late 90s Ranger that had nearly the right dimensions, and the outlets were in a good location. The only major difference I can see, other then trimming some on the mountings points and fitting in brackets, was that the Ranger rad is crossflow, and original is downflow. Any ideas on if this would matter or not? Its a pressurized system, so my first guess is a no... but I'm a body man, motors have never been my specialty. Quote Link to comment
Six_Shooter
No, the coolant doesn't care what direction it flows through the rad. I'll be swapping from a vertical flow to horizontle flow in my 240Z this winter. Quote Link to comment
