i recently finished my rebuild... l20b,

nismo lightened connecting rods

87mm flattop pistons

stock crank

u67 head

ported, 3 side polish, port matched intake and exhaust

isky dual titanium valve springs

webcamshafts 510 lift cam 266 duration

steel cam towers

oversized valves

portmatched mikuni manifold

dual s5 mikuni 44's rebuilt and tuned by rebello racing

79 200sx electronic distributor

taylor wires, msd 6al box

200sx 5 speed

9 pound aluminum flywheel

twin disc stage 2 clutch

clutch pack type subaru lsd with 4.11 gears

 

still breaking it in any suggestions on my next move?

 

im already thinking its not enough power though =(

if you have done your initial break in, 2000 rpm for 15 minutes, did you change the oil and filter. other than that, give it a few thousand miles and lay hard on the loud pedal. make sure your timing is stock for the break in and then advance it to 36 total for the rest of its life. have fun, if you want more, turbo or s/c. ill take that "crappy" engine off your hands for free, you can keep the head tho. shoulda got a 219 sss.

im already thinking its not enough power though =(

of course! money well spent though :D

 

the diff in CC between heads could push the CR past using pump gas. part of the reason i chose it also.

 

 

 

im excpecting similiar numbers on my LZ22

 

 

if you have a dyno day set in the future, id check mine too!
