Sealik
Was wondering if anyone could give me some input on injectors...? The 'recipient' is a Z24E (200SXEFI) with a VG30E throttle body. I can't afford new ones....so I guess they'll have to be reconditioned. Purchase the 'stock' Z20/22E injectors....? Should one consider low or high impedance for this app? Seems to be a few on Ebay.....but who knows what one will get..?..relative to quality.... that is. Anyone have a link or reputable buisness they have dealt with....? Don't want to end up with 4 'pez dispensers'.... Thanks. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I'm sure I have 4 left over Doug. '80 or '81 don't remember, but they were off the Z20E. The same injector was used on the '78 280z, '83-'84 200sx with the CA20E motor, 82 Stanza wagon, '83 and '86 Stanza.... all with CA20E motor. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Just get at the wreckers. They don't wear out nearly as fast as people might suggest. So used ones have always work fine for me. Quote Link to comment
Sealik
Just get at the wreckers. They don't wear out nearly as fast as people might suggest. So used ones have always work fine for me. The closet wrecker is about 130 k away..... They couldn't even find me a KA power steering pump and reservoir. Even 'linked' up with other 'local' wreckers...negative...nothing. Oh....there is a ICBC/wrecker here....the only Datsun he had....is sitting in my yard. If I asked them about early Datsun injectors......They would probably conclude I was delusional and or...but, with no doubt.... be committed:lol: Edited October 17, 2009 by Sealik grammer Quote Link to comment
Sealik
Sounds good Mike.... What you want.....? I'm thinking I should fix my summer (injected) truck just in case my winter truck calves. Always need backup.....lol Most likely will have to put the air regulator back in...very cold starts here in the winter. I removed it because the VG30 TB didn't leave quite enough room. My replacement winter truck/project.....is somewhat still in the 'works' Shooting for spring on that endeavour.....hopefully. The guy that has that 720 up here with 10000 miles on it (from Cali)... just passed away. Actually he has 2 4x4's Waiting for a phone call from the wife. About a bakers dozen....of 720's that is: Neighbours are starting to talk.....WTF...another truck....!!!!! Quote Link to comment
