njwett
Im trying to buy a 1971 521 for 200 bucks but it having an issue and i was just wondering if you guys could give me a bit of info. they took it for a test drive today and said that it would not go over 25 mph. He seems to think that it may be a distributor problems "like on cog off" he says. This is obviously some kind of carb/distributor problems what could be going on? Quote Link to comment
izzo
put more hamsters in the wheel. might kick it up a bit :D Not sure get a timing light if you can and check the timing, does it bog down at 25 or what?? Either way, 200 dollars aint to bad. Tow it home and start wrenching on it. L series engines are cake to work on. Quote Link to comment
