BJW's FiveTen's
To have a head re-sufaced here in Seattle is about $30-$40 my current machine shop gets $35 Quote Link to comment
MAG58
To have a head re-sufaced here in Seattle is about $30-$40 my current machine shop gets $35 When I got my Z head decked .005, and the seats re-cut and lapped it was like 55 bucks here. Should be less for a 4 cyl. Look in the 30-35 range maybe a little less if the shop is big, for a surface. Quote Link to comment
Bugeye
If you can get it to me free, you just pay for the valve seals Edited October 10, 2009 by Bugeye Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
Be careful that you don't mill enough off the head or block that you ping even on [what passes today as] premium gas. Compression ratios of 10 to 1 or greater will get you pinging on acceleration. Quote Link to comment
