Just Joel Posted October 2, 2009 Report Share Posted October 2, 2009 I was poking around the local pick n pull and came a crossed a 66 or 67 510 wagon and it just so happened to have a set of su side draft carbs bolted to the head. Would these potentially bolt up to my 71 L16? What kind of rebuild kits are available? What would be a decent price if I were to buy them? Thanks Joel Quote Link to comment

datto510 Posted October 4, 2009 Report Share Posted October 4, 2009 It depends on what kind of car it was at the yard. If it was a PL510 then yes. The carbs, (the intake manifold really) will bolt to your L-16, provided that it is the original L series engine. The 411 came with a different engine, the manifold from that engine wont bolt up to your L-16. Of course you could always buy the carbs and find a manifold for your car later. Maybe youll get lucky and get some 38mm SSS carbs. Quote Link to comment
