Pacific coast Datsun
I'll take the one I removed to get tested in the 620 & have the one I swapped in tested too. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Hopefully they will both test good. Wiring gremlins are a pain in the ass. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Mark! Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
So do I my friend. I've been running it once a week for about 15 mins in the driveway with the lights on...it doesn't die & they do look brighter. I know that means nothing until they're tested. My biggest ? is how can something go bad or a wire short out when the truck literally hardly ever moves LOL 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Is there mice, rats, squirrels in your area. Rodents cause a lot of vehicle damage across the world. 1 Quote Link to comment

Pacific coast Datsun
Ok update..as I was warming up the 620'earlier I decided to remove the positive cable from the battery & when I did the motor died..that tells me this Alternator is bad. I'll still have both tested to make sure & then either have the 60'amp unit rebuilt or purchase a new one. 1 Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
I decided to install a new 50 amp Alternator today. I'm using a 81 510 internally regulated unit. 1 Quote Link to comment

wayno
I read that Tinypic is directly associated with Photolame and should be avoided, this is what I read in a post on a forum called Redflagdeals that a member here posted a link to in the "Photobucket & Ratsun" thread. Quote Please do not continue supporting Photobucket or Tinypic (owned by Photobucket) by uploading pics with them, find another hosting site. End Quote 1 Quote Link to comment
