"kit"?

 

You can get the full gasket set at any parts store. The rings and bearings will be separate, you can get timing "kits" (chain, guides, tensioner, sprockets), valves and rockers are separate (and not easy to find good ones- do NOT buy american made L-series rockers).

I'm pretty sure those haven't been around for 10-20 years. I never found one in '92 when I rebuilt my first L16.

 

The main reason is that you need to know the oversize for the main bearings, rod bearings, and pistons/rings which will all be different. Unless everything is standard. This isn't a Chevy, they don't make ready-to go kits for these.

seriously, sell me the tow bar off your truck. Anyone know where I can get one of those?

 

Like this one?..If you weren't so far away, if this thing wasn't so heavy, if the shipping wouldn't be so expensive, etc. etc. etc..(Yeah i know My wife also says I can be a real a-hole too...LOL) Ron:cool:
