Oh yeah the car is unmolested and rust free. The title is clear and the car is registered as non-operational. It is missing headliner and carpet but seats are in excellent condition and the dash pad is immaculet. and the door panels are good and it has dealer installed air conditioning (:

You are probably right but if I install the motor I would never be able to bring my self to sell the car :) ok so this leads me to a question. I know most cut and turn the cross member to install how many if any mod. the oil pan to make the motor fit?

Very few modify the oil pan. There's not a "bolt on" solution, other than custom. The truck KA pan doesn't bolt on. You need to make a rear sump pan with new baffles, etc, and also customize the oil pickup tube to run to a rear sump pan.

Why anybody does that over reversing the crossmember is beyond me. Weld on a skid plate to the oil pan if you're seriously worried about front sump. And buy a sway bar for that much more reassurance.

The pan on my frontier KA (I believe its a 4x4 motor, but have no proof), has what I've been refering to as a 'mid-sump' pan. The sump sits about where a rear sump pan would, but its notched in the back (stock). Although I have yet to test it in a 510, it sure looks like it would fit a 510 easily. It also has the external oil pump though, so its not compatible with a 240sx KA unless the the whole front cover and parts inside are used.
