It just stopped? throw us a bone here.

 

wire fell of the ignition/ballast resisitor? you have spark so I say its good. does it run in start then doesn when key goes to on? you have to be specific.

you say fuel so I assume filter and carb is not plugged. or is there a idle cut off seliniod and when you let off the gas it dies but if you pump the gas it stays running?

 

recheack the intake and carb bolts.

re cheack TDC and location on the dizzy.

recheack the valve clearance.

ck the spark plugs.

 

did you gap the rings? even if you didnt car should still fire off one of the other cylinders enoug to barely to keep it running.

 

lash pads still on rockers and ddint fall off?
