Jakerz
Well I just picked up my first datsun. But first... First time I saw an old 510 about 7 years ago I was hooked!! lol I just had to have some sort of nissan! So i bought my first car from my dad. A 92 infiniti g20. after a few years I put a lot of work into it and finally an old lady ran a red light and totalled my baby! I went awhile without a nissan and about a year and a half after that accident I bought my 71 521. will put a bunch more pictures up later (lazy):P info on this purdy devil.. l16 4spd that runs pretty good..when running. owner before me lowered it and planned to rat it out, so I figured I'd continue with that with my own style! Now a few questions. It does start but there is hesitation. it takes a bit to start up. Everything is original under the hood, for sure needs some love, and wires everywhere! lol So is there anything I can fix/rebuild/replace to make sure it starts on the first turn? thanks for any help, and I'm lookin forward to workin on my little devil! Jakerz
Pictures? ok pulling out of her own little spot. Its got 3-4 white walls. The right rear just has black wall out, but its too old to flip around. So I have to wait to get nice big fatty white walls on there. The bed will get lined with rihno or just some black paint. Not sure on which yet? the cab has a litel corrosion but I like it! :) Most of the lights work except for the inner HL, left side RL, and the brake lights. Bucket seats are pretty darn comfy! anybody know what they are out of? I'm pretty sure they aren't stock. (maybe I'm wrong though?) Have to get rid of all the black adhesive for a fresh coat of paint. Then there's the L16. runs like a champ after 1 or 2 try's at starting it. :P Also needs to be cleaned up wire wise. THERE EVERYWHERE!! Then its back to sleep... Quote Link to comment
