coupe side view mirror

I was wondering if anyone had a coupe side view mirror they could let go of. I think from looking that the stock one was a slender chrome thing but I hate the stupid plastic one that is on mine.

The stock 1200 mirrors are far from sexy. Mine is a rectangle shaped, dark gray plastic. The stock 240z mirrors look pretty good.

Like Driven said the stock mirroros are far from sexy....but could still be avaiable from your local dealer.

When I bought my car, the mirror was attached with two bent rusty nails. I quickly upgraded to a ziptie. The thing that it attaches to is held in place by tar, and mine was missing. I think part of the reason that they're ugly is that they are too far back, because of the vent window I guess. It's hard to tell from your pic but yours may have been moved forward and you might be missing the backing thing too. Anyway, I got a mirror from a 210 including the backing thing at the yard. It looks the same, but is chrome.

 

There's my idea, sorry this is kinda old, for some reason I thought I already replied. And sorry for bumping Post-tits down a notch.

cool thanks, it looks like the guy actually set up the car for two mirrors further forward because there are aluminum threaded sleeves stuck into each of the doors.

OWGT, i have a spare stocker mirror you can have. I'm in Bellevue/Issaquah (I-90 Eastgate).

 

Silver or gray. Never have figured out where the Chrome ones came from. Maybe from later 620 pickup?

Nice to finally meet you at the show. I had a good time, and it was better once I talked to that bonehead that parked you in the wrong section. (Hey, I'm old and don't like taking crap from boneheads anymore :) )

 

It seems to me that I read somewhere that the chrome mirrors were put on the Coupe 1200's. I know my old one had a chrome mirror that was factory from '72. Don't know about the '71 or '73's though..

my 79 620 had those chrome mirrors. one has a crack in it so i removed them and put on black mirrors off of an izuzu rodeo. i still have those chrome 620 mirrors gathering dust in the garage. :D

Which mirror you willing to let go of? I need a right side mirror, the ones in the pic look like right siders. I wouldn't care if it was the chrome or silver. I am in AZ so would have to be shipped. If you want to sell it let me know.

I have one RH mirror, purchased new from Nissan last year (not for sale). You can just order one up, it was $57. It is the typical gray color, not the lighter silver and not chrome.
