haubstr
Does anyone have part numbers for the replacement bushings for the front end of a '71 521??? Thanks Quote Link to comment
ppeters914
Interesting. I went thru the 521 parts manual that Paul (71-521) scanned and posted on ODPL. It shows the bushing in the drawing, but doesn't list a part number. Nothing on RockAuto.com either. Quote Link to comment

mklotz70
Those are the upper/outer bushings and easy to get. I buy them locally down here. There are no rubber bushing at the inner/upper and lower/outer locations and I don't know if there are any in the lower/inner. I've never heard of anyone replacing in the inner/lower. ADrummond
There are lower inner bushings, and they're a pain in the ass to replace - but that's probably not a big deal, since I can't imagine them wearing out all that often. They're pressed into the frame, and you've got to burn the rubber part then saw the steel sleeve out. They're the same as in the drum brake 620, available from Rockauto.com and probably everywhere else. If you're looking for the rest of the front end rubber parts, like seals and the clips that hold them on, go to nissanparts.cc and be prepared to wait for six weeks while your order sits on the shelf. mklotz70
I was just under a truck yesterday and noticed that the lower/inners did indeed have bushings :) Probably like the front leaf spring bushing....never seen a worn out one. If it did.....I'd make one out of delrin :) Quote Link to comment
