I am going to eventually put my L16 back together and want to get as much out of it that I can and have it remain stock looking. I have the original block and an A87 peanut head and I was thinking of going flat top pistons... so what are those? Put together the short block. I forgot to bring home my 10mm allen socket from work, so I can't torque the head yet. Looks a lot better than the bare block that has been staring at me from the engine stand. Quote Link to comment

And dont be a sissy about the weather. pulled the core support out on my wheeler, installed a new radiator, and other misc junk on it when it was 12 out :lol::fu: Got the engine just about ready to drop in, need the weather to cooperate now.
