Anybody have a set of 14x6 rims in Spokane, WA? Have some slicks, just need another set of rims to mount them on. 205 slicks, and the current rims are 5.5 A little tight for a 205, but may have to use them. I'm working tomorrow, but plan to do some zipping around on lunch.

Well awesome! I just tried to mount the 13" steel rims with my old snow tires to drive up to the autocross, forgot they don't clear 280zx brakes. And I don't currently have another set of tires. So I'm driving my dot slicks up to the race. 30 miles. Not what I'd recommend for anyone, fortunately there aren't big ruts in the road on highway 2 as there are in I-90. If it was I-90 I wouldn't even do it.

As it is, I'm going to go VERY slowly up there. Wish me luck for arriving in one piece! :D For those of you who have never driven race tires on public roads, yeah, instant lane changes if you have crappy pavement. Kind of like driving with an invisible ape yanking your wheel whichever direction at whatever time he may choose. Whee!!
