I'm about ready to work on tuning the Dellorto's on my L20b. Due to the difficulty obtaining Dellorto parts it would be awesome if some of you guys could post the specs of your setups so I'd have a baseline to start from.

im jealous man, i have a fresh motor and a set of 44mm mikunis i want to install but i cant afford to rebuild my carbs or get a sloppy cam, im having serious issues with my stock hitachi as we speak, good luck with your carb tuning, i know i havent had any:(

I'll definitely be using CB for jets and emulsion tubes etc. I don't think they carry chokes though...

 

I don't mind doing the conversions if you guys are running Webbers or Mikunis ( I know Dellorto's aren't so common), just post up the specs of your carbs and I'll do the conversions to Dellorto parts.

i have not set up or installed my 40DHLA's yet but i would like some base lines also to go off of.my second hand set is way off for a L20B

Check out some of the Aussie and New Zealand Datsun websites, those carbs were dealer installed on some sss models.

Speed shops used to sell a back to back twin Delorto on a special base to replace Camaro carbs. It was called the SideWinder after the shape of the fuel rail. Have the counter guy look up the sidewinder and see if he can get parts for them.

I have been looking for a shop that rebuilds Dellortos,I got a pair of 44s with my 71 510 project that I picked up,and just found a nice cannon intake,but the carbs are in fairly poor shape,anyone have any ideas?
