so i finally found an L20B for my 521.

I'm gonna rebuild it.

i need to go down to the hardware store at some point today and get bolts to put my L20B on it's stand.

what size are the bolts that hold the engine and transmission together?

that's my dumb question for the day! pictures to come as promised!

thanks,

Madison

Shoot man i just went and got some for mine, try and find a bolt that fits before you go.

I thought they were M8 or M10, 1.25 pitch.

***edit

I just went and measured the width of the bolt diameter, it is exactly 3/8'th inch thick. Not the head, but the actual bolt. When you get to the hardware store measure if you need to

well they are 3/8th inch thick bolt size

so when you get there have them get out a tape measure. ... :D

Yes, they are very close to 3/8", but we all know that they are metric.:D And 3/8" is just a hair smaller than 10mm. However, i am not sure what thread pitch they are.

picked some up that day... M8's x 2.75. would have worked like a charm but they were too small. haha.... used some threaded rod I had laying around and some nuts to make some makeshift bolts. haha. :)

got some pictures, just not on the computer yet.

motor won't turn over via the crank pulley, though.. : kinda worries me but oh well, i'll keep my fingers crossed.

later on then...
