cjr198car
Went autoXing today and had a blast. I was on street tires, but overall the car handled great. -Colton Quote Link to comment
paradoxx
results? because one pic shows some cars tough to beat. Quote Link to comment
cjr198car
I was in a novice class (no points just learning how to drive). If I was to compare my car against the class I should be running I would have been off the pace. The class I should be running allows everything Ive done (engine swap, suspension, brakes, etc.), but I do not have race slicks. After I get some nice rubber at all four corners and have the 510 scaled/aligned Ill hopefully be in the mix. Heres a few more pics: -Colton Quote Link to comment
datrod
Nice. One of my favorite 510's in race mode. After some seat time and some stickey's you should be right up there. :D Quote Link to comment
hessianben
Niice!!! That's how I like to see em!:thumbsup::thumbsup: suspension looks like it's doing it's job- not too much body roll. Quote Link to comment
cjr198car
I found the right wheel and tire package for a total of $800: These will be my wheels (15X8, 15X7): http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/pro.html These will be my tires (225-45-50, 205-50-15) http://www.nittotire.com/functions/tire_popup.asp?tire=NT01 The body roll was minimal, but the rear is setup to high. I love the rake, but the rear will have to go lower. The front is perfect. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I had too much power and torque with the VG (140whp/170wtq). Ive been kicking around the idea of headers, cams, and a retune, but all of those thoughts are gone till I can get the power to the ground. -Colton Quote Link to comment

You won't be sorry. Quote Link to comment
cjr198car
The kumho V710 looks like a great tire, but it has to tall of sidewall (225-50-15) vs the Nitto (225-45-15). I would also like a little higher tread wear rating (the kumho is at 30 where as the Nitto is at 100) and a tire for highway use so I can drive the car to the autoX event in race trim. -Colton Quote Link to comment

If your going to drive to the event V710's would suck. But man do they make your car way faster. I love them. But I haul my Z on a trailer. :D Quote Link to comment
