Cuts metal like mad
Japanese solex-mikuni carbs... nice... Quote Link to comment
datsunfish
Mikuni phh, kits are hard to get. If you find a source for a kit I would love to know. I got the same pair in 40mm and they ran great but they were hard to dial in without the sync tool and they dont have idle screws so I gave up. I plan to make some gaskets and slap em on my 510 L20b when i swap out the cam from my 521s L16. Quote Link to comment
ariascarlos1990
I bet if I could find the exact name for them I could find some kits... Quote Link to comment

7-seven_four-4
Look at the butter fly. If it say 165 its a 40 and if its 175 its a 44. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
What I remember is the Toyota 18RG had the mikunis and I would think they be 40s and they would be better for the street wolfcreek racing Rebello Nissan motorsport catalog list parts. maybe "overseas-auto" in canada there also have a Blaine,Wa address what are you looking for. Not much to go bad on there. They work or they dont. my 40s have a main jet of 135 and air jet of 160. also 40 might have a vacuum ort on one of the carbs for the distributor. a 44 will be about 160 main and air around 250. Jason out of Canada might now ,most parts are just serviceing parts as Mikunis have mot been made in a while. I say bolt them up first!!!!!!!!!!!!!before looking for a rebuilt kit Edited August 11, 2009 by banzai510(hainz) Quote Link to comment
Jesse C.
Those look like 40's and definetly came off a factory engine. I had a set with SKS kits on them and I used Mikuni parts to rebuild and tune them. Quote Link to comment
