I was surprised that Ford sold that many cars,

considering the Cortina was the only model offered that year.

7200 Simcas?!?! Just as many as porsche for that year. But now finding a 69 Porsche would be infinitely easier than finding a Simca.

 

That VW figure is mind boggling.

 

Yeah...thats like 7198 Simcas more than I have seen from that year!:lol:

 

Look at it this way...I have owned around 40 VWs...12 Toyotas, 5 Subarus, 2 Fiats, 2 Volvos, 1 Renault and 1 Simca....and 1 NSU....that seems to be about the same ratio as on this chart.:blink:
