steve g
Im in the process of building my 2.6 NAPS-Z24 stroker and came across a guy with a Kameari adjustable timing gear and Kameari oil pump.... they are for a L24 but im wondering if they will work with my Z24.... he wants a pretty penny for the parts so i dont want to buy them and be stuck with the parts.... Any advice greatly appreciated.. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
steve g
maybe im wrong but isnt the 240z engine an L24? thats what the parts were supposed to go in. The crank is offset and welded and a moderate overbore giving me a total of 3.56 x 3.96 . I dont know the exact details of the amount of welding done, part of the offset was done with welding but the journal is smaller now and a Mitsubishi rod is used and my final compression should land at 9.0/1 After the headaches, research, machine work, cost etc.... i dont think its going to be worth it but i can hope. 2.8 was the goal at the begining but the stock remaining part of the crank would have beed cut too thin leaving me with a bunch of weld to rely on.... machinest did not advise this. banzai510(hainz)
L16/18/24/26/28 have the same chain length L20Bs are 2 links longer The Z24 Napz block is even more taller I believe. So chain length would be different. Quote Link to comment
