Back in the 70's - Part II

Recommended Posts

I fell in with a guy named Pat who let me borrow his

fairly new '72 240Z when it was convienent.Ideal arraingment.

My "business" partner & I took Pat's Z down 101,South

of Eureka,I was driving.There's a long straight stretch,then

going up a hill,where I took it up to 100 MPH +.I passed a 510

wagon & not to much later noticed headlights approaching rapidly.

The next thing I knew - there's a CHP cruiser on my rear

bumper.I debated weather to take the next off ramp.I didn't,but

the CHP cruiser did.

We decided to spend a couple of hours in Fortuna (the following-

off ramp) just to be safe.It worked.
