rustyblue
I have been away from the datsun scene for a few years but i just got on this forum for the first time and this is by far the best datsun forums i have ever been on. I bought a 78 king cab 3 months ago and just as the truck was about to roll over 300k i threw a rod and put a tennis ball size hole in the side of the block. I have another engine that appears to be in good shape. The engine is completly disasembled and im gonna attempt to build my first engine and drop it in. If anyone has any tips on good literature, problems i might run into, or just any of those little tricks that you learn from building several of these motors that they could share with me, that would be awsome Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Welcome. Fill out your location in your signature. And post pictures of your '78 and the new motor you plan to put in it. Is it standard or auto, King Cab or reg? Quote Link to comment
Dudeman
This is a good website, there are service manuals that run through disassembly and reassembly under 620 Tech http://www.olddatsuns.com/index.htm Quote Link to comment
