the crock corp started about 20 min away from where i live and they are currently trying to dump all of their product at a "insanely low price" (10 bucks/ pair) to get out of debt... i hope they go under.

Well I dressed the two surfaces with a belt sander and a hand wire brush and bonded with a urathane adhesive for construction then blocked into shape and so it makes good contact. Then set some bricks on top to hold them untill set in 24 hrs.

 

Will probably sand the excess off that squeased out. Pix later.

Heh, almost a pair of hippy sandles, some people will make a whole sandle out of the old tires with some leather they can last for a loooooooong time.

The adhesive blobbed out a bit, (wish it came in black) will sand down the excess. 'slightly' heavier than before and squeak on hard surfaces but what the hell good for 5yr/50,000 miles. :D
