Pacific coast Datsun
Im replacing the wheel cylinders on the front of my 65 L 320 & have a few questions. Will 521 wheel cylinders fit & are the front & rear cylinders the same on both trucks? Napa sells the rebuild kits but have to be ordered & takes 7 working days...i have the 69 521 for parts & figured hell if they fit ill just swap em, bleed & hope they hold. Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
They're not the same, but you probably can make them work. I recall the fittings to be different. They are vastly different front/rear. 520 through '66 were supposedly the same. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-320-520-New-Front-Wheel-Cylinders_W0QQitemZ250164481826QQihZ015QQcategoryZ34199QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD6VQQcmdZViewItem Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
TY Doug,im gonna remove them tomorrow & see how they compare. I may just buy the ones off E bay.......... EDIT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I gave up trying to get the 521 cylinders off & went to Napa & ordered 2 rebuild kits & new brake hoses for the front. Part # is 643 for the rebuild kits. Quote Link to comment
