On Saturday the 510 Club of BC went out on the first of our two usual summer cruises, they usually are about 750-1000 km's long and last the whole day. We started out from Richmond BC and ended up the Fraser Canyon in Pavillon Lake BC, all on the Canadian trans continental Highway 1.

The day started out cool and foggy leaving Richmond, there where three of us heading out into the fog:

Then, out of the mist came The Bronze:

Soon Highway 1 was full of 510's:

We had to stop for Rheis who had a oil fitting fail on his engine, I'm glad to hear you made it home OK Rheis! The guys could fix a blown motor on the side of the road and have you back in time for dinner eh ! By this time our numbers had grown to ten cars, nine 510's and Alveen's 610:

We made our first gas stop of three at our regular Hope Chevron where James had to fix his turbo:

It was hot, don't let anyone tell you different, note to self, black cars need air conditioning . It was a fabulous drive on a fun, twisty road, I was too busy hanging on to get many pictures of the bent bits though . It was fantastic seeing how well the cars worked on the road. Another note to self, 10w30 isn't enough for a drive like this and I really need to upgrade the radiator in the 'goon, temps climbed up there on this trip. Thanks everyone! Sorry I couldn't stay for the BBQ and meeting ...
