out of austraila  has shims that fit the stock retainer as the bottom is countersuck. The Shims in USA are all falt bottom and stuck up alot and then one needs taller retainers to hold them. If too much sticks out its top heavy and can fall out.  One person has gotton them on ratsun. But you need to guesstamate your size as its a long way to Down Under to guess..  But nice if some brought over alot bu the demand is low as nobody does alot of L motors that much anymore. I think a Z car shp would have had these years ago.

 

New aftermarket one seems to get away with .140-.150

Regrinds are about .180-200.

 

also have to factor in seats cut ,if valves cut as this all can changed the height at the top of the valve stem.

I know some people use an electric smoker. Those can be had in lots of sizes, are usually oriented vertically, and aren't too spendy. Been meaning to get one for awhile now...  😁

Such a nice day, after cutting the grass I took thiss toy looking battery jumper thing and jumped the 70 Sedan off and took it for a well needed ride the first this year
