datzenmike Posted July 7, 2009 Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 You have an L20B in it? Check to be sure as the '74 had the L18. As a rule the L18s were 5 bolt cranks and the L20Bs were 6 bolt which would affect the flex plate you want. If an L18 you could also use the flex plate of the earlier L16 from the 620 or the 510 with 3N71B automatic. Look on the upper edge of the block just below the head and behind the dip stick handle. The engine type and size are stamped there. Link to comment
