joemaddox
I finally got my bee painted this morning after 3 years of restoring it!!! What does everyone think??? SIX MONTHS OF BODYWORK LATER!!!!! ALMOST FORGOT TO SHOW THE "LACK" OR REAR WINDOW LIP---- Now i still have to do the dash and the steering column, then assemble, but today felt like a million years of work to get to this stage.. I have done EVERY single part of this job myself and its taken almost three years and about a thousand dollars,lol... But i am way stoked to have gotten it this far today!!!! Any one got a flat black six pack hood lying around,lol.....;) Quote Link to comment
izzo
looks good man, tho even with a nice paint job like that the roller tires you put on there make it look like shit :lol::lol: Quote Link to comment
woodside4032
Friggin beautiful. I'm still trying to get my 69 RR to that state only not quite so shiny. I've been going at it about 6 million years too. Sorry I need my lift off six pac hood. I see em on flea bay quite a bit. Quote Link to comment

Had the opertunity to get it, was a three times totaled car when i got it... Didnt get any pics of the core support before i fixed it(way bummed on that), but it was hit twice in the front, and swung around to the driver qtr(someone did a BAD bondo job then sprayed it black before i got it).... crabbyone
A yup, plenty of room for a KA swap. :) Seriously, looking good. That was, I think, one of the sexiest bodies Chrysler ever put together, really like the color. What drivetrain you gonna put in it? Suspension mods? Takes me back to my younger years, my younger brother had a Coronet, with a 383 4 barrel in 1975. Keep up the good work.... Quote Link to comment

Has anyone noticed that the fenders and trunk lid are Fiberglass, made them myself, took forever and i still have some alighning to do... But i weighed it two months ago and its sitting at a little over 1400lbs right now (granted there is no interior, trunk floor, fuel cell, engine/tranny or well, me... But i am hoping to keep it under 2400lbs, with the 440, it should be a screamer!!! Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
I bought a friend's '69 Charger (310 lol) when he moved up to a 440. Drove his a few times. The 440 is no slouch! BTW the Charger I had was my first automatic/PS/PB/bucket seat car and although I didn't care for the auto at first, I found it very much fun to easily pack 5-6 friends into it's cavernous interior and go on a cruise party. 440 + 2400 lb = HEMI performance.
