dirtbike daron
Here are a few pictures of the crossmember i made from s13 center section adapted to the outers of a datsun crossmember. I pushed the motor 2-1/2 inches back from stock location (unsure of exact numbers as im not looking at the drawing), as well raising it up to prevent oil pan beat down. Also knocked the firewall back 2 inches to clear the head (no pics yet, but ill be out the tomorrow). Here are some of the RHD swap ive been messing with. Cut the spot welds on the steering column firewall mount and stuck it on the other side. 280ZX steering shaft and U joint comparison. 280ZX joint has more angle by far. 280ZX U joint welded to Datsun shaft. dirtbike daron
Thank you. The real trick is being hungry to achieve something that you want rather than being pro skillz at building this stuff. ...Also helps to have great enthusiasts around you as well. Quote Link to comment

dirtbike daron
Required? Well i guess so in my case because it was the only way to get some meat between the mustache bar and the bumper since there wasnt much left of the cargo area. Quote Link to comment

Just a jackass RX7 oil cooler up front as well that will be removed because its not actually hooked up. Word on the street is that it was a rally car at some point in its history. Im thinking it raced late 80's early 90's Quote Link to comment

New job hopefully in 2 weeks so ill be up and up on this thing. Quote Link to comment
