nismosilvia
810 arts an craft week been waiting on a better mask for painting so not much I can do till then and its always Datsun time. Recovered the dash in some vinyl its not og looking has small dot pattern throughout but i liked the retro feel to it and the color was a close match. This is the cowl the opened slats let all kinds of undesirable material fall down into the heater intake area and down the fenders causing the rust many of these style car have from the rotting debris. My idea simple and very cheap. I went to the hardware store got a few feet of window messing and a pack of hot glue. Glued the screen on the bottom boom nothing falling down this cowl anymore. Some various design graphic schemes Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
I've seen those same type of designs on a 810 coupe before in a Japanese site. Quote Link to comment
nismosilvia
Maybe they are Japanese styled but my pattern I wasn't copying anyone Quote Link to comment

nismosilvia
That coupe is wild. It looks like someone imported the wagon that was on bring a trailer to Japan that's crazy Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
Yeah the wagon was exported from california to Japan I don't think they had any wagon models made in Japan. Man I really want those smaller bumpers they look so much better. The link below is a art that painted the 810 great art, not something I would do but cool non the less. Quote Link to comment
nismosilvia
Yaa it kind of has that 50s gaser theme going on or something unique but you know with something like that here all the honders would always try and race you. I decided I'm going to go back to the factory maroon with no graphics to avoid unwanted attention. Quote Link to comment
nismosilvia
Oh ya and the mid 80s/90s Chevy blazer bumpers are pretty similar that and a few old buics. I doubt there to many options for better looking bumpers out there for us sadly. Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
Only If I find some for sale in yahoo japan a or use some 510 bumpers. Quote Link to comment
