nismosilvia
Those stripes bonded to my stock paint pretty good. Take your time and use a good Sharp blade. That will probably do you right Quote Link to comment

nismosilvia
@ 280Z the link to the japanese auction was awesome. That car is so dope those rims were amazing on it. I want to lower mine now lol makes mine look like a 4x4 Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
Ha yeah ima post more pictures some of them on the bozo thread. If you wanna lower your 810 might want to look at the 280zx suspension, S13 coilovers should work either way mostly will have to be custom. ArchetypeDatsun
As promised here they are. 1978 Nissan Bluebird 2000G6E-L 5 speed Solex Carburetor Here's a 1979 Nissan Bluebird G6-E I was thinking once I get my 810 we should make a "810 Unite!!!" thread going, wish Ratsun would make a 810 section since the 810 owners are starting to pop up. 2 Quote Link to comment

bloodontheapex
The little touches on those cars make them look so much better. The bumpers, the seats, the beauty rings and small center caps. Are those electric windows in the center console? Fucking fancy. Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
I want those bumpers when I get an 810! Quote Link to comment
nismosilvia
After work today I was driving home look ahead see a small car and was like oh cool a datsun. Get a little closer, are those 810 tailights? I steeped on it to get closer sure enough it was a slammed 810, four door with z iron crosses. It was a trip seeming another one let alone the next town over. The guy said he was going boso with it, exhaust and rims. Quote Link to comment
bloodontheapex
Well, my dad ran his big redneck truck into the 810 this morning. The grille and driver's side head light bezel are fucked. This is the third time he's run into one of my car, so this time he's paying for it. I figure I might as well go with the round light swap, since I've wanted to anyway. So I need: Round light hardware: buckets, brackets, all the bolts, etc. 4 bulbs. Round light bezels. 77-78 grille. Quote Link to comment
nismosilvia
Will cut springs make my car ride like crap? I'm thinking about maxima front stock in the rear. 2 inch drop with 15s is the plan. There was a guy selling the grill a while back as for light buckets I don't see why you couldn't use the BMW ones. xlr8r
Cut springs = stiffer rate. Depending on how much you cut off & the condition of your shocks it can lead to an interesting ride. You usually see Honda's cruising around on cut springs bouncing all over the place because they don't have the proper shock to go with the increased rate & blow their shocks. Quote Link to comment
bloodontheapex
Isn't the 280zx spring the same but shorter? That might be a better alternative to cut springs. 1 Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
I would go to the junk yard and pick some up shouldn't be expensive at all, match your 810 springs with the 280zx ones and see if there the same if so then coil overs would be a must should not cost anymore than $400 bucks or you can try S13 240sx coil overs. nismosilvia
If I don't plan on going rear discs should I still go with the 280zx rear struts? Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
Sure they should fit just fine. Quote Link to comment
bloodontheapex
Why wouldn't you go rear disc? Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
You should be able to do a subframe swap from a 280zx n/a or turbo. Quote Link to comment
