jrock4224 Posted June 26, 2009 Report Share Posted June 26, 2009 Anybopdy ever had there ignition light on there 521 stay on permanant.....Mine has since I hooked up the battery backwards while drunk and didn't notice till my alt was burned up and all the majic smoke was gone....the majic smoke from the alt guys......even with new alt the ignition light is on constantly.......no dimming no dissapearing no nuttin......any ideas....thanks jon Quote Link to comment

ggzilla Posted June 27, 2009 Report Share Posted June 27, 2009 Yes, replace the voltage regulator. It control the dash light with an on/off relay. The relay is supposed to be controlled by the alternator output, but it is probably arced/struck now. Quote Link to comment
