Farmer
Is the inner bearing suppose to be real tight while putting on spindle? I test fitted them (with out grease) and wont go on by hand. Larry Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
you mean fitting the inner bearing over the spindle? Normally it comes right on/off. but in some case you have to use a drift and tap them on/off. Clean up the spindle since it should not be that tight. At least I think thats how it is. yello620
I have had inner bearings that would not go on without a little grease. Try grease first. Make sure that you have good name brand bearings, not some chinese stuff that might be the wrong size. You have drop spindles right? A little emery cloth will smooth out the spindle surface and let the bearing slide on if it is close now. Quote Link to comment
