The love of JDM
About to pull out of my 72' shell, would come with shift selector and transmission mount. No idea how many miles or condition of going through the gears. Taking best offer on it, or trades for parts I need (see sig lines) will get some photos after its removed today. datzenmike
Pics would be nice. What year? There were three different auto used on the 510 I believe. The first was the Lech Worth Borg Warner 35 (B-W 35) I think from Britain and only auto with cable down shift. Then the Muncie Borg Warner 35 (B W35) and after 04 '71 the 'in house' Jatco 3N71B the only auto with shifter on right side. Edited June 24, 2009 by datzenmike Link to comment

datzenmike
3N71B right side shifter. Here's one from a '73 510 (the short tail is a 510 give away): http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q251/datzenmike/Tranny/trans3N71BLseriesshort72510.jpg[/img]"] Link to comment
The love of JDM
Meaning its worthless? Link to comment
datzenmike
No no. Just it's good to identify it for someone who might want it and needs an exact match. I would rather have the 3N71B than the BW. Autos aren't much in demand on a 510. They are just.... sluggish is all. Most would prefer a standard. Link to comment
The love of JDM
I understand, I prefer a auto as well but would have no need for the auto sitting around collect dust when someone might need Thank you for providing information about the 3 Link to comment
MikeRL411
Remember, it's the British BW. The shift tube goes all the way through the case and can be hooked up to shift from either side, [like the Austins on the right and the SAABs on the left]. Link to comment
