You think the guy's a troll? He has a couple of other ones that are pretty funny. He might be just that stupid.

I couldn't read it all.... what did he use, a computer fan as an electric turbo or something??? If it worked, we'd all have one. Saw a leaf blower turbo on a dyno... seemed to give a dozen extra hp on some honda but $500 for a long extension cord??? FT.

Yea. It looked like a computer fan. but the thing was he hooked it up backwards. So when he would start the car it would die. I did see that one you saw with the leaf blower that was some funny stuff. But it did work.

i could see this working in theroy but it would be a complicated set up to work correctly as in a potentiomiter connected to the gas pedal so that the "boost" (speed of electric motor) is relative to the amount of throttle and oviously an electric moter that can tunr the "turbo" fast enough to make a difference

Generally... it can't be done. It takes a lot of hp to push that much air... don't forget a motor at 6,000 RPMs is going to use it up faster than you can push it in. Using wasted exhaust energy is still the easiest way.

Idk why there is a big question mark or event he beginning of a debate. That piece of crap he bolted up, wrongly lol, is specifically sold as an electric "turbo" on 3rd party websites and ebay. Not something from a computer, it doesn't even look close to any kind of comp cooling fan either Idk how that even came up. If he is a troll then he has thousands of others just like him because many people have said... well for the few $ screw it I'll try... There are ignorant ricers left and right rocking those things. Quick search any honda forum and see how many people.

I wouldn't knock electric, more air+fuel = more power that's just what it is. There are companies that sell real electric superchargers that work. The main prob seems to be we run a 12v system(for now) and just can't handle the task like your saying mike. Most talk of electric SC to come seems to be in conjunction with a true turbo.

I digress though...

I believe it's true because I have seen it so many times before. This isn't like pouring soda into a gas tank I mean these are the kids claiming cold air intakes not only "make" hp but retarded figures like 15hp lol.

They said someone tried to extrude hone their intake by pouring sand into the engine while running. Is that one true? Never heard it before but that right there is genius.
