oldsklminitrk
Yeah I can do that or I got a idea.....I got a plasma cutter and some scrap metal......next time you get some more stuff from me Ill cut one out depending on how big you want the notch. Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
I used a 4 inch diameter of 1/4 inch tubing when i had my C notch. Measure the width of the frame, cut the pipe in half & now you have both C's. If you can weld it's a do it yourself job. I also plated the outside of the frame 3 inches beyond the C for extra strength. Quote Link to comment
doc future
i would definately recommend suicidedoors.com. i have used many of their products including their notches and bridge kits. their bag mounts are great as well. yes you can make em yourself for cheaper but suicidedoors saves me the hassle plus their customer service is A+++++++++ when i bagged my s10 suicidedoors had just started up and they only offered a few products, when i called the number they had listed for technical support it was the owner jason's cell phone and he helped me with all my questions on a saturday afternoon. check their stuff out, i wont buy air ride stuff from anyone else. WagDatto
http://www.fbirides.com/shopping_department.asp?cat_idno=257000 I used to work at Fender Bender Intl (FBI), and my brother, Phil, is the general manager there still. When we bagged my 620 a few years back, I obviously used all their parts. Universal curved or monster notches are less than $100, and the extra large monster notch is around $150. I approve this endeavor. Quote Link to comment
doc future
fbi also has pretty good customer service. a friend of mine got their membership that they offer and saved couple hundred bucks when he was buying a lot of parts. Quote Link to comment
