Duke Posted June 2, 2009 Report Share Posted June 2, 2009 I'm looking for a KA 5 speed out of a 240sx in known GOOD CONDITION! I have been through a few wrecker sourced transmissions and have had some bad luck with them. I am tired of the crap shoot that comes with buying something from a wrecker. So if you have or know of anybody who has a KA tranny that is in good condition (IE shifts well, good bearings, etc) let me know. Link to comment

Duke Posted March 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 27, 2010 I actually just recently put in a 240sx transmission from the wrecker, it just happened to need a few bearings and perhaps a gear or two :( . So yes, I have shortened the drive shaft as well as modifying the tranny x-member. Link to comment
