slam_dat_sun Posted June 1, 2009 Report Share Posted June 1, 2009 ok my lights worked fine on my 1974 620 , and i am in the process of shaving everything . i havent shaved anything yet but i did remove the corner lights , i am wondering if breaking that circuit would make my parking lights stay on the headlights dont stay on but the park lights do i dont have the lights to plug back in and see if thats the problem so ant ideas Quote Link to comment
yello620 Posted June 1, 2009 Report Share Posted June 1, 2009 disconnecting the side marker lights at the harness connector will not make the parking lights stay on. Follow the wiring diaghram as to where they get power and it should be really simple to figure out. Wiring diaghrams are available online at http://www.olddatsuns.com Quote Link to comment
240ADAM Posted June 1, 2009 Report Share Posted June 1, 2009 Maybe the switch got messed up inside. You should open up the switch and clean and grease the contacts. You just have to bend the tabs on the back of the switch and it will open up. Quote Link to comment
