Well, after damn near a year... I started getting to work in the truck. First took off the bed to get a start on the rust issues with it.

Got to love them hooks :) I will be leaving them on as they make putting the cargo net on so much better.

I made a patch that is built just like the original metal was made, then I decided to weld up the seams in the bed anyway.

Finished up the welding and did the usual grinding that goes with it...

Roughed up the metal for the fiberglass reinforced filler. I use it because it is waterproof and won't make new rust form on the bare seams.

The front bulkhead was rusted out at the bottom.

Cut out the old and added a new filler piece ready to go.

Lots of surface rust on the bed, whole truck really.

Got a lot done on the bed body work wise, decided to take it out and hose it off. Figured the best way to move it was the truck it came from... Well it has rained for the last 4 days and the area where the truck was parked turned to mud. So, I had to pull the truck out with my Chevy...

I deff do not have a L-S-D, as the pass wheel was just a turnning.... Tire looked like a cinn powdered donut...
