herculesinwyoming
i love it, looks like you are having fun, one question is how well do your brakes handle the heavy wheels and tires? my truck is going to be a around town toy maybe a show trip once in a while. Quote Link to comment

NSRz32
For those of you who haven't seen my other random postings about the truck, here's some more info on it..... On the exterior truck has a set of fender mirrors which were sourced from a seller in Australia. Replacement emblems were purchased to put in place of missing/broken ones which were on it when I got it. They include 521 fender emblems, a hood emblem, and a 510 emblem I fitted up to the grill. Replacement headlamp bezels and a front grill were purchased as the ones on the truck were bent up pretty bad. The highbeam lamps were stained yellow with Krylon X-metals paint. The truck was 7 shades of oxidized green and rust when I got it so the whole truck was rubbed out. Here's a couple shots of when I first got it. I got it about 2 years ago for $500. I've since put less than $1300 into it. It has the L16 which I've fitted up a 4-2-1 header and dual sidedraft carbs to along with an accel coil and NGK plugs. All basic maintenance was done and fluids changed out. The vehicle was lowered recently by indexing the torsion bars up front and using 3" belltech blocks in the rear. The fuel tank recently started leaking so I replaced it with a Empi spun aluminum cell mounted in the bed. With wheels and tires, as seen in the original post, I have ZG s30 flares and fitted up a set of 15x10 Turbine alloy wheels. The tires are Kumho AST's in 225/50/15. Here's a link to a thread on NICO which has step by step of my purchase of the vehicle and build thus far http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=257910[/img] Quote Link to comment
