pl521sss
I bought the 68 cap Have not fitted to my 69' wagon yet There's a slight difference but it should still fit. Think the difference on 68, it comes down on the ends further. maybe someone can further clarify it. Quote Link to comment

pl521sss
Here you go man Hope this helps you and people wanting to know the difference between 68 and 69 dash assembly. 68 dash dash overlay I think paid $75 for it 68 dash and overlay installed Ovelay cover does not extend all the way on the side but good enough. Now for the big question 69 dash Here's a section that's different, heater controls are vertical as oppose to horizontal on a 68 Another 69 dash from my wagon 68 overlay cover on a 69 dash Another 69 dash with cover The answer is YES 68 and 69 OEM dash are similar so you can you use the 68 overlay cap. Even though both are different in some areas, dash should be similar I didn't list all differences between the 2 OEM dash If anyone else is interested, can post some more pics Like the OEM clock, column cover, glove box cover, brake light test button, chrome trim around gauge cluster......
