Hey datsuns guys I have a problem i have a 1974 datsun 4 door sedan not a wagon and someone came to my house a month ago and I haven't found them yet so I want to know if somebody has two fenders that I can buy so I can put my car back together I do have some stuff to trade like the engine transmission alternator and some other stuff but I would like to buy them please and thank you

Please, in your next post include some pictures of her. Republic? Is that the one in northern Washington??? Near the BC border?

Hello, I'm glad to see there is a forum for 710 owners. I picked up a one family owned, 1976 710 4 door sedan with auto and a/c about a month ago. I'm already looking for 280Z wheels. I'd post some pics if I could figure out how to do it.

Do any of you 710 owners know how to remove the plastic 'J-line' trim pieces, behind the rear-side windows? .. I took out the rear door panels, and I can see the 3 plastic retainers but can't get to them:

It pulls straight out. Make sure to pull it evenly so you dont break and of tue pins

Hello 710 Died-Hard Fans!Im Luke-16,Real Name Ah Wai,i never post my datsun 710 sss violet(wiki says its was a 711) which consider a rare cars in my living country :blush: and im a bit shy to post at forum(since one of my cars had been stolen :crying: Damn my local country idiot! :sneaky: )Now i would like to share my ratsun pic to you all  :thumbup: .

 

Nevermind, I have post several 711 picture on the 710 forum from google,not my 711 sss,,name*some picture of 711 sss violet*. But never post my cars to the ratsun forum(Exclude the famous ratsun mike and tolkmod,they are the only two who got my Datsun 711 pic by personal ratsun email :angel:  haha)

:angel: Soo here is it,a bit rusty here,the previous owner was a mechanic secondary school teacher,keeping the cars quite well and clean especially the engine,the manufacturer date was the year 1978,from datsunmike info that he share with me it was the last years(1978) that 711 sss were build.Weird that the cars document never mention it was a 711,its called p710,im not quite sure.I am planing rebuild and repaint the body work within this years,soo any update i will upload some pic to you all,it seem you guys are *hunger* for ratsun picture :thumbup:

Thanks Micro! Not the best shape down there, because this cars got some minor rusty area surrounding,which need some bodywork.The paint job and visual design would be like this following picture:

The cars had changing rear exauber,air conditional magnet coins(correct me if im wrong),and two second hand toyo tyres .More mechanic maintenance will be doing in following one to two years depend on my budget.

 

Anyways last is almost forgot to special thanks to datsunmike for sharing some infomation to me about this cars. :thumbup:

Then adjust the float, change the oil and get driving it. This seems like cutting your head off because you have a headache.

I have already it's fouled three sets of spark plugs without me even touching the gas pedal

Does the engine smoke????? Plugs could be oil fouled.

 

 

Is it wet with gas? Carb is flooding. This could be float setting too low, fuel pressure too high, needle valve dirty/blocked and not closing. Clean or adjust.
