Pacific coast Datsun
Ill even add to this. You can also follow up with 1000 then 1500 grit wet sandpaper before buffing. The buffing wheels can be purchased at Harbor freight.... http://search.harborfreight.com/cpisearch/web/search.do?keyword=buffing+wheels&Submit=Go Quote Link to comment
LeDevil
Haha SWEET! Now I can re buff them with my drill instead of by hand dam does my elbow hurt still :( Thanks again Pac Quote Link to comment
71DIMER
What grit did you use? I polished my Talon's, but I want to refinish them... Share your process! Mark and I have shared polishing tips so here's my process with steps & pics. I think I could get them brighter if I used my polishing kit (rouge and buffing wheels) but not bad I think for all hand. Before: Simple Green to clean: Sanded with Scotchpad: Wet sanded with 400 grit. Wet Sanded with 600 grit: Wet Sanded with 1500 grit: Polished with Mother's Mag Wheel Polish (by hand) 1500 grit on left, polished on right Quote Link to comment
